Société Royale de la Constellation du Sud

The "Société Royale de la Constellation du Sud" has been established by Orélie-Antoine on 8, septembre 1875 in London. Its distinctive sign was the medal shown here.

It was formed by a greak cross with four stars in each field, in white enamel and all surrounded with a laurel and palm branch. On the top a golden crown.

This medal existed in three grades:

diameter 5cm worn on the neck

diameter 4cm also worn on the neck

diameter 4cm worn on the left side of the breast
